Brayden Liechty Owner and Funeral Director

Brayden Liechty is the owner and Funeral Director at Liechty Funeral Home. Brayden graduated from Adams Central and went on to IPFW and earned his Associates Degree from Indiana University. He then continued his studies at Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and received his Bachelor’s degree in Mortuary Science. Brayden has over twenty years of experience in the Funeral Industry.

 

Brayden is a member of the Berne Chamber of Commerce with Liechty Funeral Home.

 

Brayden is a current resident of Adams County and has been married to his wife, Christie for sixteen years. Brayden and his wife have two children. On Brayden’s time off he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Christie Liechty After Care Grief Support

Christie Liechty assists Liechty Funeral Home in After Care Grief Support. She enjoys helping families with personalizing their loved one’s final wishes and offering after care support.

 

Christie was born in New Palestine, Indiana; a small-town east of Indianapolis. Christie graduated from New Palestine High School and went on to get her Associates Degree in Business at Western International University.  Christie continued her education with Tucker University and gained her Real Estate License. Most recently, Christie has received her insurance license to sell Property and Casualty Insurance.

 

Christie is a resident of Adams County and is married to Brayden Liechty and the couple have two children. On Christie’s days off she enjoys reading, practicing Bikram yoga, and spending time with family and friends.

Linda Liechty

Linda Liechty is an essential part of Liechty Funeral Home. She works closely with Brayden Liechty and staff and families. She enjoys assisting the team with helping families personalize their final wishes and highlighting the meaningful details of their life.

 

Linda has been a long-time resident of Adams County, graduating from Adams Central. Married to Richard Liechty of Berne, and mother to Brayden Liechty.

 

On her days off, Linda enjoys baking, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Lydia Fox plays an essential role at Liechty Funeral Home. She works closely with Brayden Liechty and staff and enjoys helping families personalize their services. Lydia has a passion for serving others and assisting families in their time of need.

 

Lydia and her husband, Kevin live in Berne, have five children and have been married for sixteen years. Lydia and her family attend First Mennonite Church in Berne.

 

Currently, Lydia serves in the role of Development Director for Three Oaks Christian School in Decatur. In her free time, she enjoys quality time with her family, especially camping. She also enjoys cooking and trying out new restaurants.

Dick Schultz

Dick Schultz is a valuable member of the Liechty Funeral Home team. Born and raised in Decatur, Dick has been active in the Adams County community throughout his life. He spent fourteen years with the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department. He also dedicated his Sunday mornings to teaching Sunday School at Woodcrest for thirty-six years.

 

Dick is a member of Blackhawk Church in Fort Wayne and volunteers his time with Renew for the Blackhawk School of Fort Wayne.

 

Dick enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and following all their activities in his free time.
